Characteristics and Applications

HNi65-5 nickel brass offers high corrosion resistance and anti-friction properties, excellent mechanical performance, and superb workability in both cold and hot states. It is relatively stable against dezincification and season cracking, with low thermal and electrical conductivity. However, due to the high cost of nickel, HNi65-5 is not widely used.

HNi65-5 nickel brass exhibits good mechanical properties, machinability, ease of welding and brazing, low electrical and thermal conductivity, high corrosion resistance, and no tendency for stress corrosion cracking. It is used for marine components, steam and water pipes, and fittings.

Hot Working Temperature: 750–870°C

Annealing Temperature: 600–650°C
